94 CHP MPs nominate Kılıçdaroğlu: Saying 'last term'...

The provincial and district congresses held in 81 provinces and more than 900 districts of the Republican People's Party (CHP) have concluded. In the congresses completed before the convention, 51 provincial chairs and 413 district chairs were changed. 30 provincial chairs and 560 district chairs won their elections again.

94 MPS SIGNED FOR KILIÇDAROĞLU

According to the report in Sözcü; within the framework of the congress calendar, 1,370 convention delegates were determined in addition to the provincial and district chairs and their administrations. 94 of the 130 CHP deputies also signed for Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu to be a candidate for Chairman.

CHAIRMAN TO BE ELECTED ON THE FIRST DAY

In the CHP, which has held 56 conventions to date, 19 of which were extraordinary, the 38th Ordinary Convention will be held on November 4-5 at the Ankara Sports Hall. At the convention, the election of the chairman will take place on the first day, and the election of the members of the Party Assembly (PM) and the High Disciplinary Board will take place on the second day.

BYLAWS CONVENTION TO BE HELD AFTER THE ELECTION

It is planned for the elections to be held using the "block list" method and the "zipper" method for positive discrimination for female members. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and Manisa Deputy Özgür Özel are expected to compete for the chairmanship. To be a candidate for chairman in the CHP, the signatures of 5 percent of the 1,370 delegates are required. A bylaws convention will also be held two weeks after the 38th Ordinary Convention in the CHP.
