'Absolute Nullity' poll results revealed: Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu fails to find support

A KONDA study on the CHP convention case has revealed voter trends regarding the 'absolute nullity' ruling issued by the Ankara Regional Court of Justice. The research showed that both the general public and the majority of CHP voters do not find the ruling in question to be correct.

MAJORITY REACTS TO 'ABSOLUTE NULLITY' RULING

As part of the research, participants were asked about the 'absolute nullity' ruling issued regarding the CHP convention. 39 percent of participants stated they found the ruling 'definitely wrong,' while 13 percent found it 'wrong.' Thus, the total rate of those who evaluated the ruling negatively reached 52 percent.

While the rate of those who found the ruling 'correct' was 8 percent, the rate of those who said 'definitely correct' was measured at 3 percent. 37 percent of participants evaluated the ruling as 'neither correct nor wrong.'

NO STRONG SUPPORT AMONG AK PARTY AND MHP VOTERS EITHER

One of the striking points in the research was the approach of the ruling party's voters. According to KONDA's assessment, the ruling did not see strong support among AK Party voters either.

It was stated that the 'neither correct nor wrong' response, measured at 37 percent in the research, consisted mainly of AK Party voters, undecided voters, and groups stating they would not vote. It was noted that this segment tends to stay away from polarization.

'NEW CONVENTION' MESSAGE FROM CHP VOTERS

According to the research, the majority of voters think that the CHP should go to a new convention in a short time.

The rate of those supporting the view that 'the CHP should rapidly convene a new convention' across Turkey was measured at 59 percent. This rate rose to 53 percent among AK Party voters and 68 percent among MHP voters.

While 53 percent of CHP voters support the call for a new convention, 43 percent argued that the Özgür Özel administration should not recognize the ruling and should continue its duties.

THOSE SAYING 'LET KILIÇDAROĞLU BE CHAIRMAN' REMAIN AT 5 PERCENT

One of the most striking results in the research was the support rate for Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.

Only 5 percent of CHP voters stated that Kılıçdaroğlu should become chairman again. The research indicated that support for Kılıçdaroğlu's chairmanship came mostly from AK Party and MHP voters.

'ABSOLUTE NULLITY' CONCEPT ENTERED THE AGENDA FOR THE FIRST TIME

In the research, participants were also asked whether they had heard of the concept of 'absolute nullity' before.

While 46 percent of participants stated they had never heard of this concept before, 25 percent said they learned about the concept this week. The rate of those who stated they knew the concept beforehand was 29 percent.
