AKP and MHP did not exchange holiday greetings with the New Welfare Party

AKP and MHP delegations did not visit the New Welfare Party this holiday. New Welfare Party Deputy Chairman Bülent Osman Osmanağaoğlu said in his assessment, "We had been making mutual visits until previous holidays."

Osmanağaoğlu claimed that the AKP's holiday greeting program was not finalized until one day before the eve of the holiday, stating, "Later, our press office reported that the AK Party had announced its holiday program but that the New Welfare Party was not included in this program. Upon this, we removed the AK Party from the program we were holding and approved it with the other parties. Our holiday greeting process continued in this way."

"REASONS THAT WOULD NOT FILL A NUTSHELL..."

Stating that "Exchanging holiday greetings is a traditional and important value," Osmanağaoğlu continued his words as follows:

"We do not find it appropriate that the exchange of holiday greetings, especially between political parties, is not carried out by using current developments as an excuse and for reasons that would not fill a nutshell. We have never had such a step or approach toward any party on this matter. We do not find this appropriate. Political parties must definitely meet with each other and discuss on every platform. When the issues of our country are in question, we think that all other issues are details, and we act with this understanding. We have already conveyed to them that we do not find this situation appropriate. However, ultimately this is their decision, and we emphasize once again that we find this stance wrong. As the New Welfare Party, we would like to state that we will not display a similar attitude toward any party. However, I would like to express that if they correct these mistakes in future holidays, we could include them in our holiday programs again."

Osmanağaoğlu said, "Holidays are special days that reinforce beauty and tolerance. In this difficult process that our nation is going through, we think that our country deserves to get rid of the negativities it is experiencing as soon as possible and deserves a more prosperous, more peaceful, and more affluent life. Hopefully, we commit to realizing all of these under the New Welfare Party government with God's permission."
