AKP and MHP face off in a district: They challenged 22 votes
The AK Party District Presidency has applied to the District Election Board for a recount of the votes in the election, which MHP candidate Mustafa Koca won by a margin of 22 votes according to unofficial results.
In the Emet district of Kütahya, an application was filed with the District Election Board for a recount of all votes cast in the mayoral election.
According to unofficial results, in the Emet district where 6 thousand 545 valid votes were cast, MHP candidate Mustafa Koca received 2 thousand 314 votes, while AK Party candidate Ali Ceyhan received 2 thousand 292 votes.
The AK Party District Presidency challenged the election results, in which MHP candidate Mustafa Koca won by a 22-vote margin according to unofficial results.
AK Party officials applied to the District Election Board and requested a recount of all votes in the 29 ballot boxes in Emet.
The Emet District Election Board will evaluate the objection and reach a decision.
