AKP council member resigns and joins CHP
Bülent Can Mart, a municipal council member in the Düziçi district of Osmaniye, has resigned from the AKP and joined the CHP. His party pin was attached by CHP Adana Deputy Müzeyyen Şevkin.
Bülent Can Mart, a former AKP member of the Yarbaşı Municipal Council in the Düziçi district of Osmaniye, has left his party and joined the Republican People's Party (CHP).
Mart's party pin was attached by CHP Adana Deputies Müzeyyen Şevkin and Orhan Sümer.

In his statement, Bülent Can Mart noted that he took this step to avoid remaining silent during the difficult process Turkey is currently going through. Mart stated, "By joining the Republican People's Party, which is my ancestral home, I will fight for a better Turkey. I am here to contribute to the march toward power. Greetings to all my comrades."
During the pin-attaching ceremony, CHP deputies Müzeyyen Şevkin and Orhan Sümer wished Mart success in his new party.
