AKP filed an objection, YSK revoked the candidacies of BBP members

Nasuh Altuntaş, one of the individuals who participated in the primary election organized by the AKP Baklan District Organization, resigned from his party after not being nominated and became the BBP's mayoral candidate for Baklan.

AKP Baklan District Chairman Tamer Şen filed an objection with the Baklan District Election Board regarding this candidacy.

When the District Election Board found this objection justified, the BBP took the matter to the Provincial Election Board. The Provincial Election Board rejected the AKP's objection and ruled that Nasuh Altuntaş's candidacy was valid.

Following this development, the Supreme Election Council (YSK), evaluating the situation upon the AKP's request, revoked Altuntaş's candidacy.

The YSK overturned the Provincial Election Board's decision on the grounds of 'complete illegality' and ruled for the revocation of Altuntaş's candidacy.

HAMDİ CİN'S CANDIDACY WAS ALSO REVOKED

Hamdi Cin, one of the individuals who participated in the primary election organized by the AKP Bozkurt District Organization, resigned from his party after not being nominated and became the BBP's mayoral candidate for Baklan.
