AKP Spokesperson Çelik: The report announced by the CHP is not an expert report

Highlights from Ömer Çelik's statements:

-(On the hotel fire in Bolu) The work carried out by the expert committee is continuing meticulously. We will not allow any part of this matter to remain hidden. We will work to ensure that all results are shared with the public in a transparent manner. These efforts will serve as a guide to ensure that similar tragedies do not occur in the future.

-A 12-year-old girl was bitten by a pack of dogs. We have already made the necessary legal arrangements to prevent such scenes from occurring. We are evaluating the complaints coming from our citizens. We will follow up to ensure that municipalities that do not fulfill the requirements of this legal regulation carry them out. We absolutely do not want any of our children to be attacked. Regardless of the party, we will fight against those who do not fulfill their duties.

-We will hold our congress in İzmir on February 1 and in Istanbul on February 7, and we will hold our grand congress in Ankara on February 23. This is a relay race. We express our gratitude to our citizens who fill the halls and squares to listen to our Chairman.

-So far, 50 thousand of our Palestinian brothers and sisters have lost their lives, and more than 110 thousand of our brothers and sisters have been injured. The inhumane acts of this genocide policy are also understood. We see that Palestinian prisoners have lost almost most of their vital faculties over the years, while we see that those taken hostage by Hamas left by thanking everyone. This shows the difference between those who carry out this massacre policy and those who resist it with dignity. It is not possible to give another example that has gathered the conscience of all humanity in one place for decades. The people of Gaza resisted against the genocide activities.

-Various friends of ours went to Gaza and announced the genocide in Palestine. We congratulate our press member friends who risked their own lives here in pursuit of the truth.

"OUR MAIN DESIRE IS FOR THE CEASEFIRE TO BE PERMANENT"

-We see that the documentation activities of TRT and Anadolu Agency have reached a level that will constitute a reference in the international arena. Throughout this process, you have also made efforts to show the inhumane situation here.

-Our main desire is for the ceasefire in Gaza to become permanent. It is said that some countries want to send Palestinians from Gaza to other Arab countries; these are unacceptable approaches. Palestine is the homeland of the Palestinian people. They resisted together by giving 50 thousand martyrs with their lives; the fate of a people cannot be drawn at a desk. What will bring peace here is ensuring a permanent ceasefire and the establishment of a sovereign state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

-Syrian ministers recently came to our country and met with their counterparts and our President. While Turkey stands by Syria on the one hand to help it overcome this difficult period, we are also in a position to help guide the countries in the region on the other. Those who want to give the wrong direction to Syria, those who want to give the wrong guidance to Syria, and those who impose wrong things on Syria—all of these are wrong. We see that the Syrian people have demonstrated a high will to unite all groups. There were claims from Western countries regarding women; we see that a will has been demonstrated for women to be in every field of life. We evaluate that it is important for the peace of the entire region for Syria to continue on its path with a comprehensive administration. It is beneficial for the US and Western institutions to lift sanctions. It is important to support the inclusive management approach of the Syrian people.

"NOT AN EXPERT REPORT"

-The report announced by the CHP is not an expert report. This is a very great pain and tragedy, so before such an accusation motivation, the truth must emerge and the perpetrators will definitely receive their punishments; we say that this is being handled in a very comprehensive way.

-(On the DEM Party visit) The visit traffic has been completed. The delegation also expressed with all openness how they view the process, and we put forward our stance regarding the work done in the past period and how we view it in this period. At the point reached, there needs to be a process regarding the terrorist organization liquidating itself as soon as possible. Our view is not a bargaining process. Some politicians say that the qualities of the state are being compromised; these are wrong, it did not happen. Both Bahçeli and Erdoğan said a Turkey without terror. Organizations that say I defend the rights of Kurds have nothing to do with defending the rights of Kurds; these are acting as prison guards for DAESH.
