AKP's IMM candidate Murat Kurum comments on 'Kanal Istanbul'

AKP's Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) mayoral candidate Murat Kurum visited shopkeepers in Beşiktaş. Announcing that he will share his plans for Istanbul with the public on Thursday at 11:00 AM, Kurum promised 'neighborhood public gardens' and stated that there would be a discount on public transportation. 

"ISTANBUL RESIDENTS WILL NOT FEEL ANXIOUS"

Stating that they will begin their presentations as of January 25, Kurum said, "We will have many mega projects. There will be a will here that will eliminate the problems of Istanbul residents. Istanbul residents will not feel anxious. They will see a risk-free, worry-free, problem-free, and unique Istanbul in every phase of these projects."  

"THERE WILL BE A PRIORITY RANKING"

In response to the question, "Is Kanal Istanbul one of the mega projects?", Kurum gave the following answer:

"We said that nothing that is not on Istanbul's agenda will be on our agenda. We have expressed this. We will work in line with the wishes and desires of the people of Istanbul, whatever they want and expect, and we will carry out projects that meet these expectations. There will be a priority ranking."
