Ali Erbaş's Instagram posts deleted: Called 'an attempt to hide genocide'

Burak Orhan, Press Advisor to the Presidency of Religious Affairs, announced that two messages on the Instagram account of the President of Religious Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş, were deleted on the grounds that they contained the word "Zionist."

In a statement on the X platform, Orhan stated that this scandalous practice occurred after access to Instagram was restored in Turkey.

According to Orhan's statement, one of the deleted messages was a post from the final declaration of the "World Islamic Scholars Consultation Summit" held three months ago. This declaration condemned the massacres in Palestine and had been announced to the international public. The other message contained a speech criticizing Israel's terrorist acts, delivered at an international meeting held in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

Orhan evaluated Instagram's removal of these messages as an attempt to hide the genocide Israel is committing against Palestinians and emphasized that those responsible for crimes against humanity will one day certainly be held accountable.

Here are the messages of Ali Erbaş that were deleted by Instagram:
