Ali Haydar Fırat appointed as CHP communications coordinator

In the CHP, appointments to the administrative structure continue following the "absolute nullity" decision regarding the 38th Ordinary Congress. With the latest arrangement, Ali Haydar Fırat has been appointed to the position of intra-party communications coordinator.

The new administration led by Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu continues to shape its institutional structure within the party. Fırat's appointment to this position is seen as a notable step toward placing figures close to Kılıçdaroğlu in active roles.

The developments within the CHP will also be addressed at the Central Executive Board (MYK) meeting to be held today under Kılıçdaroğlu's leadership. The meeting is significant in terms of determining the roadmap to be followed in the new period.

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and his administration, who resumed their duties as chairman following the court decision, have revoked the decisions for expulsion from party membership taken since November 4-5, 2023. In this context, the High Disciplinary Board also held its first meeting yesterday at the headquarters. Kılıçdaroğlu was present at the beginning of the meeting.

In the presidential council election held after the meeting, İzmir Deputy Mahir Polat was elected as the Chairman of the High Disciplinary Board, while Ahmet Ersen Özsoy was appointed as deputy chairman and Sezgin Kaya as secretary.
