Election criticism from Ali Mahir Başarır to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu: 'You should have made the people happy for 13 years'

CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır evaluated the statements of former Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu on the program Aklın Yolu, broadcast on SÖZCÜ TV.

Criticizing Kılıçdaroğlu's leadership, Başarır said, "I wish you had made the people happy for 13 years."

Emphasizing the importance of the success achieved in the 2024 elections, Başarır stated, "The nation has no tolerance for another mistake. No one has the right to overshadow this success." He further noted that reputation can only be regained by winning elections.

Başarır also reacted to the praise directed at Kılıçdaroğlu by the pro-government media.

Arguing that the channels of Cem Küçük and his associates are not reliable, Başarır said, "The reliable channels are in front of me. Sözcü TV, Halk TV, Tele 1. They should not go on Cem Küçük's channel and declare it reliable."

Responding to Kılıçdaroğlu's criticisms regarding the rallies organized for Ekrem İmamoğlu and imprisoned mayors, Başarır stated that these rallies would continue throughout the summer.

"When Mr. Enis Berberoğlu was arrested, we walked from Ankara to Istanbul for justice. Today, we cannot remain indifferent to the coup against the party," he said.
