Allegation of election irregularity in Üsküdar, Istanbul: Official report filed!

At the Hacı Rahime Ulusoy Maritime Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Üsküdar, Istanbul, a dispute arose after a ballot box committee chair refused to allow a citizen to enter the voting booth with their mother.

The Ballot Box Chair intervened when the young person wanted to enter the voting area because their mother requested assistance, stating that it was 'not legal.' It was noted that a party official said about the chair, "This person is always causing trouble."

During the ensuing argument, the ballot box committee chair was threatened. The individuals making the threats were subsequently removed following police intervention.

Following the intervention, a group of 5-6 people arrived, claiming that the person intending to vote was disabled and could use assistance to vote. When the ballot box committee chair stated that there was no 'visible disability,' a person who identified as a lawyer walked toward the chair and said, "Are you a dictator? One vote is being lost."

The individuals making the threats walked toward the ballot box committee chair while continuing to issue threats as they were being removed from the voting area.

The individuals making the threats were removed with police intervention, and an official report was filed regarding the incident.
