Another mass resignation in the İYİ Party

İYİ Party District Women's Policy Chair Fatma Kaya İbil stated at a press conference held at the party headquarters that 21 board members, including 10 full members and 11 alternate members, had submitted their resignation letters to the presidency.

DECISION FOR MASS RESIGNATION

Reminding that former İYİ Party District Chair Kadir Daş had resigned from his post some time ago to become a mayoral candidate, İbil said that they did not approve of Daş's candidacy and that they did not want him to influence the party administration.

Noting that they did not want to work with Şahin Zengin, who took over the presidency after Daş, İbil said, "We are resigning from our board membership as a reaction to former chair Kadir Daş. A total of 21 board members gathered and decided to resign."

İYİ Party District Chair Şahin Zengin also AA Stating that members who opposed Kadir Daş's candidacy were trying to bring down the administration by resigning, he said, "We will all bear the political consequences of this."
