Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Böcek has added a new one to the management changes in the municipality. With the decision he signed yesterday, he appointed his nephew, Cemil Böcek, to replace Deputy Secretary General Durmuş Ali Arslan, who retired due to health problems.

Cemil Böcek, who has worked with Muhittin Böcek since his time at the Konyaaltı Municipality, was also serving as the Head of the Information Technology Department at the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality. Now, Cemil Böcek, who has been brought to the position of Deputy Secretary General to replace Durmuş Ali Arslan, will be responsible for 7 different department presidencies in the municipality.

These departments will include critical units such as the Youth and Sports Services Department, the Neighborhood Affairs Department, the Fire Department, and the Tradesmen and Craftsmen Affairs Department.

FAREWELL MESSAGE FROM RETIRED DURMUŞ ALİ ARSLAN

Durmuş Ali Arslan, who left his post, published an emotional farewell message on his social media account. Stating that he retired due to health problems, Arslan expressed that he had a successful period with the mayor and his colleagues for 6 years. In his message, Arslan said, "I tried to serve our people with sincerity and effort. I did not knowingly break any hearts, I never ate anything forbidden, and I did not engage in any behavior that would make our mayor bow his head in shame." Stating that Cemil Böcek was appointed to his position, Arslan bid farewell by saying, "Cemil Böcek is a successful manager; he will do even better than this."
