Following the appointment of a trustee by court order, the former CHP Istanbul Provincial Headquarters building has been kept under police blockade for days. While developments around the building have found wide resonance on social media, proceedings have been initiated against a large number of people due to their posts.
9 PEOPLE DETAINED
Within the scope of the investigation, 9 people who reacted to the building blockade on social media were detained. The suspects, whose procedures at the police station were completed, were referred to the courthouse.
3 ARRESTS, 6 PEOPLE RELEASED UNDER JUDICIAL CONTROL
The court decided to release 6 people under judicial control, while ordering the arrest of 3 others.
