Bahçeli determined Erdoğan's vice presidents: 'One Kurdish, one Alevi'

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli's move to go to the DEM Party benches to shake hands with their deputies, followed by his call to terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan to "declare that he has disbanded the organization," brought with it questions of whether a "new reconciliation process is beginning."

THE PROCESS BEGAN WITH ÖCALAN'S MESSAGE

The first act of the process opened with Öcalan's call to the organization to "disband itself." Subsequently, reports appeared in media outlets close to the PKK suggesting that the organization would approach this call positively.

FLASH CLAIM FROM SAYMAZ: WHAT DID BAHÇELİ SAY AT THAT MEETING?

Journalist İsmail Saymaz shared a striking detail in his report today. According to Saymaz's claim, Devlet Bahçeli voiced a historic proposal during a closed-door meeting he held with MHP deputies a few months ago.

Stating that the conversation at the meeting turned to national integrity and the law of brotherhood, Saymaz reported that Bahçeli said the following:

"Kurds and Alevis are the essential elements of this country. They cannot be pushed out of the bureaucracy. The President should have two deputies, one should be Kurdish, and one should be Alevi."

The statement, which is claimed to have been made by Bahçeli that one of Erdoğan's deputies should be Kurdish and the other Alevi, caused a major reaction on social media.
