Bahçeli's Iran-Israel warning! 'Let us not be dragged into a global war'

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli reacted with harsh words to Israel's attacks on Iran.

Bahçeli's statement is as follows:

"The series of chain conflicts and wars, one ending and another beginning, are causing high levels of damage and harm to world peace and the search for human tranquility and stability.

Constantly updating and dangerously strengthening chaotic developments not only destroy the global conscience but also signal and demonstrate, without need for further words, how primitive impulses, occupation ambitions, and goals of slaughter and destruction are becoming prominent in our current age. Israel's large-scale attack on Iran, which began on June 13, has trapped both our region and the world at large in a state of anxious and fearful anticipation.

"THE INFRASTRUCTURE FOR A NUCLEAR WAR IS BEING PREPARED DAY BY DAY"

Claims that the Iran-Israel conflict, which is being discussed as having the potential to transcend regional borders and take on a global character, is gradually preparing the infrastructure for a new nuclear-based war are gaining depth and effectiveness day by day.

Once and for all, the realization and expression of this fact is necessary for the sake of intellectual and political integrity: Israel is the hired killer of global imperialism, its spoiled forward outpost, and the relentless opponent of regional peace and stability. Israel's livelihood consists of war, attack, violence, malice, wickedness, and the pursuit and fortification of evil ambitions. The blood of the oppressed spilled in Gaza has not yet dried. The cries and screams of innocent babies, children, women, and other innocents being slaughtered have never been forgotten, and they will not be forgotten.

There is no winner in war. But there are many winners in peace. Turkey is fulfilling its humanitarian and conscientious responsibilities.

"TRUMP MUST ALSO BE ON THE SIDE OF PEACE"

US President Trump must also set aside his contradictory and convoluted statements and provide honest and courageous support for peaceful efforts. Israel's ultimate goal is clear. Even if our warnings regarding this have disturbed some, it is unthinkable that the eventual outcome will be any different.

Israel's political and strategic goal is to encircle the Anatolian geography and undermine the goal of a terror-free Turkey on behalf of its masters. The June 13 attack on Iran has shown that being in a state of caution and vigilance at all times is a responsibility imposed upon us by our geography. An army can only advance as fast as its slowest soldier. A chain can only be as strong as its weakest link.

The connection between the past and the future, whose link to the present has weakened, will also rapidly break at its weakest point. Those who claim that we are not belittling our country by aggrandizing Israel are the heedless who do not learn from history or from the very existence of life and events. As children of a nation that has learned to think while fighting, it is necessary to make the right readings, the right interpretations, and the right evaluations when needed.

The Turkish nation is on the side of peace. Limiting our surroundings with a belt of peace in a geographical sense is our indispensable goal.
