BBP leader Destici makes statement on minimum wage
BBP Chairman Mustafa Destici emphasized that they do not accept an increase below inflation regarding the determination of the 2025 minimum wage. Destici stated that the minimum wage should be increased according to the inflation rate and advocated for an additional welfare share to be given to retirees. He also made statements regarding the detention of Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer.
BBP Chairman Mustafa Destici celebrated Republic Day at a press conference held at the party's headquarters, emphasizing that the Republic is the final great victory medal of the nation's struggle for existence on the stage of history.

Speaking on the detention of Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer within the scope of an investigation into the activities of a terrorist organization, Destici stated, "We stated repeatedly during the local election process that this situation would occur as a result of the cooperation presented as the 'City Consensus'. We said, 'Let a regulation be made so that those being tried for terrorism cannot be candidates'."

BBP Chairman Destici also touched upon the minimum wage amount to be determined in 2025 and said the following:
"We are against even one point below the inflation that will be realized at the end of the year. Did it reach 45 percent? You will increase the minimum wage by at least 45 percent. Did it reach 50 percent? You will increase it by 50 percent. Whatever the realized inflation is, you will give that at the very least. The same applies to retirees, but an inflation increase is not enough for our retirees; you will give at least 5 thousand lira in welfare share there. This is very clear and explicit."
