Breaking News... Erdoğan signals new transfers: 'There may be friends who will join us'

President Erdoğan made evaluations regarding the mayors who switched from the CHP to the AK Party in his statements to journalists on the plane returning from his visit to Kazakhstan. Drawing attention to the debates within the CHP, Erdoğan stated that there could be new participants.

“WE HAVE COME TOGETHER WITH THE AIM OF SERVING THE NATION”

Stating that the AK Party continues its path with an understanding of serving the nation, Erdoğan said, "We are a movement that has come together with the aim of serving the nation and is focused on increasing the quality of politics. We continue our historical march with those who share our high values and our passion for serving the nation."

President Erdoğan stated that they would not abandon this understanding, saying, "We will never give up on this and we will not give anyone an opportunity."

“THOSE WHO FACED PRESSURE IN THE CHP FOUND PEACE IN THE AK PARTY”

Speaking about the names who switched from the CHP to the AK Party, Erdoğan argued that some mayors were subjected to pressure by the CHP administration.

Erdoğan said, "Some friends who were threatened, pressured, and insulted by CHP administrators found peace in the AK Party and joined us."

“THEY HAVE TURNED THE CHP INTO A CENTER OF CORRUPTION AND BRIBERY”

Continuing his criticisms of the CHP administration, Erdoğan used striking expressions regarding the party's internal structure.

President Erdoğan said, "Those who were once part of that party know best what the CHP administration has turned the party into. It is very, very sad for the reputation of politics that those who have turned the CHP into a center for corruption, theft, and bribery are deepening the rot inside."

“THE CHP'S INTERNAL FIGHTS DO NOT CONCERN US”

Stating that the debates within the CHP do not concern them, Erdoğan said, "The seat wars, the race to blame each other, and the Olympics of slander within the CHP do not concern us. We are looking at our own path. We are striving to provide our nation with the services it deserves."

“THEY SAID THEY BECAME UNABLE TO PROVIDE MUNICIPAL SERVICES”

Touching upon the statements of the mayors who joined the AK Party, Erdoğan said that the individuals in question stated that they could not produce services within the CHP.

President Erdoğan said, "The first statements of our mayors who joined the AK Party were in the direction of, 'We want to serve. This is not possible in the CHP. We became unable to provide municipal services amidst the CHP's internal fights.'"

“THERE MAY BE NEW PARTICIPATIONS”

At the end of his statement, giving the message that there could be new political transitions, Erdoğan said, "There may be friends who will join us in the same way from now on."
