Breaking News... First rally after the İmralı decision held in Zonguldak: Özgür Özel makes allegations against Ali Yerlikaya

The rally in Zonguldak is being held in front of the Miners' Monument. The area has been decorated with Turkish flags and posters of Atatürk, Özgür Özel, and İmamoğlu. Banners reading "Freedom for İmamoğlu" and "Defending the National Will" have been hung. A banner reading "We Will Not Forget" in memory of Ferdi Zeyrek and a poster featuring Bülent Ecevit's slogan, "A system that is neither oppressor nor oppressed, a humane and just order," are also present in the rally area.

EKREM İMAMOĞLU'S MESSAGE READ

CHP Zonguldak Provincial Chair Devrim Dural read the message from Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and Presidential Candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu:

Zonguldak is the city of good-hearted, fine-charactered people who earn their bread from stone with the sweat of their brow. It is the city of brave souls who dedicate their lives to the mines and save lives in earthquakes. This city is the hometown of our democratic, honest, and patriotic leader Bülent Ecevit, 'Karaoğlan.' Zonguldak knows well the difference and value of the Republican People's Party's populist and action-oriented municipalism. On this occasion, I thank our very valuable mayor, Tahsin Erdem, for all the efforts and services he has dedicated to this special city. May his path be clear. I congratulate my fellow traveler Devrim Dural, who was re-elected as provincial chair with the strong will of our organization at the Zonguldak Provincial Congress. I wholeheartedly thank our entire organization, in his person, for the determined and honorable struggle he has carried out.

My dear brothers and sisters; a handful of people who trample on law and democracy and see themselves as the owners of the state are trying to give a new shape to our Republic, which is Atatürk's legacy and dearer to us than our own lives. They are eager to establish an archaic system where the 'law of the ruling power and the institutions of the ruling power' prevail instead of the rule of law, and where the national will is kept under pressure. They are trying to force everyone and every segment they see as an obstacle to their goals into submission through bullying. They are trying to achieve through blackmail, threats, and conspiracies what they could not achieve through politics and the ballot box, and they are striving to seize the authority they could not get from the nation through a guided judiciary. Their goals are clearly visible. And this dirty goal has permeated every line and every sentence of the indictment they prepared against us: They want to push their rivals out of politics, suppress the national will, and sit in those seats from generation to generation.

The indictment is a testament to this corrupt intent and this dirty plan. Everything on the government's agenda today is related to this corrupt intent and this dirty plan. They care nothing for the economy, education, health, or justice... They have only one concern; to sit in those seats from generation to generation. It is because of this mindset that we are constantly living in crisis. Because of this mindset, we as a nation wake up every morning to a poorer, more insecure, and more uncertain life. As we move away from law and democracy, we move away from prosperity, abundance, and blessings. As we move away from justice and freedom, we move away from peace, unity, and brotherhood. But this era will not continue like this. Because in this country, no one is more authorized or more valuable than the citizen. No power is above the will of the nation. That ballot box, which they run away from in fear, will be placed before us, and we will breathe a sigh of relief as a nation. As Karaoğlan Ecevit said; we will establish a humane and just order.

Turkey will be a country of hardworking, free, and happy people who live without worrying about their livelihood and without fearing the future. The value of those who work and produce will be known, and everyone will rightfully receive the reward for their labor, initiative, and investment. Justice and freedom will prevail for everyone, everywhere. No one will be subjected to inequality, discrimination, or injustice. A great oppression and tyranny that targets everyone who does not think like them will come to an end. Scarcity and poverty, injustice and unfairness will leave these sacred lands never to return. From Zonguldak to Hatay, from Edirne to Hakkari, goodness and brotherhood will win across all of Turkey. Everything will be very beautiful. Ekrem İmamoğlu. Silivri Prison.

ÖZGÜR ÖZEL'S ALLEGATION REGARDING YERLİKAYA

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel alleged that Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya is conducting operations against his own deputy ministers and trying to leak so-called information to the opposition.

Özel stated, 'This city is the 10th city that generates the most income for Turkey every year, but what is the investment made by the state when giving back to this city, which it ranks in the top 10 when taking from? It is in 70th place among 81 provinces. You are in the top 10 when giving to the state, but you are in the bottom 10 when the state gives to you. Shame on those who take with a shovel when taking from you and give with a teaspoon when giving back. We are number one in Europe in inflation. Hans buys meat for 7 dollars, while Hasan pays 21 dollars for the same meat.'

Özel noted the following:

We are the 10th country in the world with the most crime, out of 190 countries. The streets are not safe. Women walking home in the dark are anxious, children are not safe. Drugs have reached the school gates, even a baby in an incubator is not safe.

The other day, Ali Yerlikaya came out and said, 'Our effective fight against criminal organizations will continue.' That evening was the birthday of the leader of the Daltonlar gang, and they celebrated the gang leader's birthday by firing machine guns into the air all over Turkey. That morning, Ali Yerlikaya said, 'Our effective fight against criminal organizations will continue.'

If he weren't ashamed, they would bring a slice of the Daltonlar leader's birthday cake and serve it at his doorstep. May God not put any Interior Minister in the situation Ali Yerlikaya has fallen into. This Ali Yerlikaya is a pathetic man who brought five thousand police officers to install a trustee at the Istanbul Provincial Presidency of the CHP, which was founded by Atatürk. He does not hear the grievances of the police; the police hate him.

Stop trying to conduct operations against your own deputy ministers and trying to leak so-called information to our side; do whatever you want, just get off our backs. A minister is trying to involve opposition parties in his fight with his own deputy minister.
