Breaking News: Kılıçdaroğlu's convention message from the podium! 'I have no ambition for a seat'

While the absolute nullity crisis within the CHP continues, tensions rose today due to the group meeting.

Eyes turned to the TBMM after Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was brought to the head of the party by a court decision, and the CHP's Elected Chairman Özgür Özel both announced they would hold group meetings on the same day, at the same time, and at the same address.

A scuffle broke out between Kılıçdaroğlu supporters and Özel supporters in front of the Dikmen Gate of the TBMM. Kılıçdaroğlu announced that he would hold his group meeting at the CHP Headquarters.

Calling on his supporters for the 14:00 meeting, Kılıçdaroğlu left his residence to head to the CHP Headquarters.

Kılıçdaroğlu entered the hall where the group meeting was to be held at 14:20.

Following the group meeting Özgür Özel held at the TBMM, there is curious anticipation regarding what messages Kılıçdaroğlu will deliver.

Starting his speech by saying, "I am doing everything, but everything, for you," Kılıçdaroğlu targeted the Özgür Özel administration without naming them.

You saw the front of the CHP Headquarters. We have our flags there. There is the flag of a socialist international. The others are Turkish flags. Erdoğan's presidential seal cannot be hung in front of the CHP Headquarters! Such a thing cannot be. Look, when Mr. Abdullah Gül came to visit me, we did not go up there and hang a seal.

They tell me I am the Palace's man... My friend, when did you ever criticize the Palace? When did you go after the 'Gang of Five'? I would be dishonorable if I did not hold the 'Gang of Five' who eat the rights of this nation accountable.

If I do not hold drug barons accountable, I am dishonorable. If I do not save this party from those who sell their will for money, I am dishonorable.

Drug barons, phone scammers, interest rate barons, those who rob the state; you take taxes from the citizen and pay them to the 'Gang of Five'. I will hold them accountable for that too.

They brought Mehmet Şimşek from England. He was going to lower inflation, he was going to save the poor. The ones being crushed are still the poor, the ones making a killing are still our 'Gang of Five'. What kind of business is this? We will change this order. Be sure of it. But we must be together while fighting for rights. There are owners of some television channels whose owners are in London and who do not dare to come to Turkey; just as delegates are bought and sold with money, television channels should not be bought with money. I will prevent that too.

If a child goes to bed hungry, we are all hungry that day. If one of our children is restless, none of us have peace that day. We will wage this struggle for the unity and integrity of the family.

I would be dishonorable if I did not hold those who brought the 'absolute nullity' lawsuit upon this party accountable! The absolute nullity lawsuit is a blow to our moral superiority. We will say goodbye to anyone who took money in the corners of nightclubs.

I would have liked for us to do this in Parliament... I always acted with good intentions, and because I acted with good intentions, it was exploited. But up to a point. When it reaches that point, excuse me, I will cut it off.

They say Kılıçdaroğlu is the Palace's man. My friend, when Erdoğan came to Parliament, was it Kılıçdaroğlu who stood up and lined up? They said, 'We are negotiating.' Kılıçdaroğlu said, one does not negotiate with the Palace, one struggles against it.

The third is that the destruction created by the government must be corrected. If the administration of the state is not based on morality, we all lose.

The CHP is the first party to say that the Kurdish issue must be solved in parliament. We are a party that approaches this issue most warmly and has dozens of reports in its archives.
