BREAKING NEWS... Operations against CHP municipalities continue: Lawsuit filed against 25 people
In an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a lawsuit has been filed against 25 people, including Hayri İnönü, Şükrü Genç, and Emir Sarıgül, who served in the Şişli and Sarıyer municipalities between 2014 and 2016, on charges of providing financing to the DHKP-C.
The investigation launched into allegations that financing was provided to the terrorist organization DHKP-C through tenders held in the Şişli and Sarıyer municipalities between 2014 and 2016 has been completed.
PUBLIC LAWSUIT FILED AGAINST 25 INDIVIDUALS
As a result of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a public lawsuit has been filed against 25 individuals, including former Şişli Mayor Hayri İnönü, former Sarıyer Mayor Şükrü Genç, and former Şişli Deputy Mayor Emir Sarıgül.
According to EkolTV, the case will be heard at the 13th High Criminal Court. While it is stated that the trial process will begin in the coming days, no comprehensive statement has yet been made to the public regarding the details of the investigation.
Other names mentioned in the indictment include former Ataşehir Deputy Mayor Abdullah Der, former Maltepe Deputy Mayor Haydar Battal, and Melih Morsümbül, who currently serves as the Deputy Mayor of Manisa Şehzadeler.
