OPERATION STARTED IN THE EARLY HOURS
Journalist Musa Özuğurlu announced that the operation began around 05:00 in the morning. While details regarding the incident have not yet been clarified, it was learned that Counter-Terrorism teams were conducting a search at the municipal building.
It was stated that Mayor Abdullah Özyiğit's phone could not be reached. Following attempts to contact him, no statement has been made regarding the Mayor's situation.

It was noted that the search conducted at the municipal building was carried out by Counter-Terrorism teams. While the teams were conducting the search, other details regarding the operation have not yet been disclosed to the public.

Journalist Hilal Köylü announced that 31 people were detained in the operation targeting the Yenişehir Municipality. It is alleged that those for whom detention warrants were issued include deputy mayors, branch managers, and company officials.
