Breaking News... Security sources: 'Turkey is not a party to the war'

A breaking news statement has been issued regarding Turkey's position in the context of the attacks by the US and Israel on Iran. As reported by Halk TV, security sources have declared that Turkey is not a party to the war.

The following points were highlighted in the statement:

The developments in our region in recent days have once again shown how delicate the global and regional security balances are. Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, and Lebanon have been subjected to intense attacks and have become fronts in the conflicts.

It is observed that the missiles fired from Iran at Turkey have a different pattern than the attacks carried out on these countries.

Firstly, there is no intensity of attack as there is with other countries; secondly, there has been no loss of life or property; thirdly, all three missiles were neutralized by air defense systems.

Based on this, it is necessary to emphasize Turkey's position on the matter.

Turkey is not a party to the war and is cautious so as not to be drawn into the conflict.

Turkey is acting with a sense of responsibility to prevent the formation of new lines of tension in the region and is conveying this to all parties.

A clear message has been conveyed to the Iranian side regarding the immediate identification of those responsible for the attack in question and the taking of necessary measures.

Turkey's cautious stance should not be interpreted as unlimited tolerance; Turkey possesses the necessary deterrent power to ensure its national security and will not hesitate to take measures in the nature of retaliation/sanctions in the manner it determines when the time comes.

The neutralization of the missiles by NATO air defense systems has constituted a critical example in terms of the protection of Turkey's airspace and the effectiveness of allied coordination.

While maintaining its security measures at the highest level during this process, Turkey also continues to actively utilize diplomatic channels to prevent further escalation of tension.
