A candidate has announced their withdrawal from the race in favor of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Böcek

Justice Party (AP) Antalya Metropolitan Municipality candidate Osman Koç announced at a meeting that he has withdrawn his candidacy in favor of the incumbent Metropolitan Mayor and mayoral candidate Muhittin Böcek, and that they have decided to support Böcek.

Koç said, "I wish for this to be auspicious for our Antalya, for our future, and for our country."

Stating that they achieved success together with the voters who supported them as the ATA Alliance in the last general elections, Osman Koç said, "I would like to thank our Turkish Alliance Party Chairman, Mr. Mehmet Sağlam, who put great effort into the establishment of the ATA Alliance and led the ATA Alliance, once again in your presence.

Following the statement by Turkish Alliance Party Chairman Mr. Mehmet Sağlam supporting our incumbent Antalya Metropolitan Mayor Muhittin Böcek in the local elections to be held in our Antalya on March 31, I have also withdrawn from the Justice Party Antalya Metropolitan Municipality candidacy in order to support Antalya Metropolitan Mayor Mr. Muhittin Böcek for the sake of our Antalya, our state, our country, and you, our esteemed fellow citizens. I wish for it to be auspicious for our Antalya, for our future, and for our country," he said.
