Cemil Tugay reveals the latest election poll in İzmir!

Continuing his local election campaign, CHP İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral Candidate Cemil Tugay answered questions from members of the press.

Making statements regarding the current agenda, Tugay also shared the poll results for İzmir regarding the upcoming local elections.

Stating that they are 8-9 points ahead in the poll conducted by the CHP Headquarters, Tugay spoke as follows;

"It is not very accurate to make claims based on polls during election processes; we look at our observations in the field. In the poll conducted by our Headquarters 2 weeks ago, we appeared to be 8-9 points ahead. New polls will be conducted these days. We do not view this process only as winning an election or in terms of points. It is important that we explain to people what kind of administration we will demonstrate. 

Actually, with the change process in the CHP, our understanding of politics has changed. The profiles of our mayoral candidates have changed. Today, together with very valuable names like our Party Assembly Member Baran Bozoğlu who is with us, we are trying to govern by seeing, hearing, and understanding all of Turkey within a team-work approach. It is much more valuable for society to understand this. I truly believe that a good result will emerge. Sometimes poll results aimed at creating a perception are published, but this happens in every election period. We will see the truth on March 31."
