CHP deputies speak out on Kılıçdaroğlu ahead of party congress lawsuit

The CHP continues its preparations for the rally it will hold tomorrow at 17:00 at Ankara's Tandoğan Square, ahead of the party congress lawsuit to be heard on Monday. The party headquarters is calling on citizens to attend the rally by phoning them with a voice recording of CHP leader Özgür Özel.

According to a report by Cumhuriyet, CHP Deputy Chairman Gamze Taşcıer stated that during her visits to shopkeepers, the public expressed their concerns regarding the appointment of trustees. Taşcıer said, "People are uneasy about the appointment of trustees to companies and parties. There are those who ask, 'Should I withdraw my money from the bank?'"

CHP Ankara Provincial Chairman Ümit Erkol stated that they met with mayors, non-governmental organizations, and unions ahead of the rally, saying, "We invite everyone to the rally for peace, democracy, and a humane life."

KILIÇDAROĞLU'S SILENCE CONTINUES

The silence of former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu during this process continues to be a subject of debate within the party. CHP Chairman Özgür Özel called on Kılıçdaroğlu, stating, "He should declare that the CHP cannot be governed by trustees." Some deputies within the party hope that Kılıçdaroğlu will adopt a common-sense stance. However, whether Kılıçdaroğlu will break his silence before the lawsuit remains a matter of curiosity. Deputies say, "Mr. Kemal always has surprising moves. We would like him to make a statement. But we will see what happens."

On the other hand, expectations for an early election are also being discussed on the streets. Taşcıer stated that shopkeepers are counting down the days to election time, adding, "Everyone says that what we are experiencing is a political case and that the government is doing this to stir up the CHP."
