CHP leader Özel's first assessment on Dervişoğlu's election

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel made an assessment regarding the election of Müsavat Dervişoğlu as the Chairman of the İYİ Party. In his statement, Özel said, "Since the İYİ Party will now walk its path with Mr. Müsavat, we wish him the best."

CHP leader Özel's first assessment on Dervişoğlu's election

Participating in the lantern procession organized by the Manisa Metropolitan Municipality as part of the 484th International Manisa Mesir Paste Festival, Özel walked from in front of the Sultan Mosque to Republic Square.

Evaluating Dervişoğlu's election as chairman to journalists after the walk, Özel said, "May it be auspicious and beneficial. In a political party, internal democratic competition contributes both to that party and to the country's democracy. Very valuable candidates competed. We followed it closely.

Müsavat Dervişoğlu is a valuable figure with whom I served as a group deputy chairman and who has contributed greatly to the İYİ Party. Since the İYİ Party will now walk its path with Mr. Müsavat, we wish him the best." he stated.

"THE PARTY OF GOOD PEOPLE IS CHARTING A NEW PATH"

Expressing that he would visit Dervişoğlu to congratulate him as soon as possible, Özel said, "The İYİ Party is a party composed of good people. In the last elections, many good people joined the Turkey Alliance and did not allow the People's Alliance, consisting of the Justice and Development Party and the MHP, to pass. This party of good people is charting a new path for itself. May it be for the best for Mr. Müsavat." he said.

Noting that the previous chairman of the İYİ Party, Meral Akşener, is also a valuable person and has left her mark on important milestones in Turkish political history, Özel said that Akşener was one of the architects of the Nation Alliance.

Stating that Akşener's farewell speech at the congress was very meaningful, Özel said, "We wish her health and success in her future life. Past processes aside, we grant her our blessing. May she also grant us hers. May it be auspicious for the İYİ Party and for the members of the İYİ Party." he said.
