CHP member Gökhan Durgun laid to rest
Gökhan Durgun, a CHP Hatay deputy for the 22nd and 23rd terms, has passed away in Ankara. His funeral was held in Antakya with the participation of his family, relatives, and party members.
Following a ceremony held at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Durgun's body was sent to his hometown and taken to the Antakya Cemetery Complex.
The funeral prayer held there at noon was attended by Durgun's family and relatives, as well as party members and citizens.

Following the ceremony, Durgun's body was laid to rest at the Serinyol Neighborhood Cemetery.

WHO IS GÖKHAN DURGUN?
Born in Hatay in 1957, Durgun graduated from the Department of Physics Engineering at the Faculty of Science of Konya Selçuk University. Having served as a Board Member of the Machinery and Chemical Industry Corporation (MKE) Antalya Battery Factory, Durgun was elected as a CHP deputy for Hatay in the 22nd and 23rd terms.

Durgun was married and a father of two.
