CHP opens presidential campaign office in Ankara: İmamoğlu's name comes to the fore

The Republican People's Party (CHP) is opening a campaign office in Ankara to strengthen its election campaign following the designation of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu as its presidential candidate. This office will be located in the Bülent Ecevit Party School building, and its opening will take place today at 18:30.

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, in a statement made before the opening, said, "Our Presidential Campaign Office has materialized today as the steps toward power of our new political understanding, with an approach that centers on solidarity and division of labor based on a horizontal hierarchy within itself," indicating that this office represents the party's new political vision.

In a post shared on social media, Özel invited citizens to the opening, saying, "Tomorrow, we are taking another determined step on our path to power; we are opening our Presidential Campaign Office. No one in this country can be saved alone. But if we are together, no one can escape us. Come on, Ankara!"

Ekrem İmamoğlu also made a call via social media, stating, "Today, my freedom may have been taken from me... But no one can touch my dream of a wealthy Turkey where young people are hopeful, retirees are happy, civil servants are excited to serve their country; where farmers and industrialists are determined to produce; where tradespeople are smiling... Where reason reigns and science is the guide. The journey to turn that dream into reality begins in Ankara. Our Presidential Campaign Office is opening. You are all invited."

Before the opening, the nameplate at the entrance of İmamoğlu's office was also shared. This development is considered an important step in the CHP's election campaign.
