CHP's Tanal reacts sharply to 'trustee' allegations! 'CHP will not surrender'

Regarding the CHP's 2023 convention "tainted by irregularities" the lawsuit filed with the claim that it was "tainted by irregularities" will be heard on Monday, June 30. Allegations that a trustee could be appointed to the party following the lawsuit are being discussed in the public sphere and by some media outlets.

"THE PEOPLE WILL NOT SURRENDER TO A TRUSTEE"

CHP MP Mahmut Tanal responded to the trustee allegations on his social media account.

The CHP is the people, and the people will not surrender to a trustee.
The lawsuit filed against the CHP is unlawful.
Because the Election Law is very clear:
If there is an issue regarding the election process, only the district election board, the provincial election board, and the Supreme Election Council can review it.
Courts have no jurisdiction in this matter.

Tanal's post is as follows:

"The CHP is the people, and the people will not surrender to a trustee.

The lawsuit filed against the CHP is unlawful.

Because the Election Law is very clear:

If there is an issue regarding the election process, only the district election board, the provincial election board, and the Supreme Election Council (YSK) can review it.

Courts have no jurisdiction in this matter.

Even if there is a major illegality, the only authority that can intervene in such a situation is the YSK.

All judicial attempts outside of this are unlawful and political.

But let's say the law is ignored and a court decision is issued...

Even then, one cannot immediately 

appoint a 'trustee'.

Because a decision cannot be implemented until it becomes final. 

During this time, CHP delegates will reconvene, 

and a second extraordinary convention will be held.

The party will continue on its path once again through the will of the people.

Let it not be forgotten:

-In law, there is always a remedy.

-The CHP is not the party of one person, but of the nation.

-We will thwart both palace games and backroom schemes.

A trustee cannot be appointed to the CHP; the will of the people cannot be silenced."
