CHP sets time, issues public call for İmamoğlu! 'We are waiting for you at the father's hearth'

CHP Party Spokesperson Deniz Yücel, following the detention of Ekrem İmamoğlu, issued the call: "We invite all our citizens who believe in democracy and who want to protect national sovereignty and the future of this beautiful country to the father's hearth, the CHP party buildings in their respective provinces and districts, today at 14:00, and our citizens in Ankara to the CHP Headquarters."

Pointing to 14:00, Yücel stated the following:

"We are following the lawlessness applied to our Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mr. Ekrem İmamoğlu and his companions with great attention. Our Chairman Mr. Özgür Özel departed for Istanbul in the early hours of the morning. We invite all our citizens who believe in democracy and who want to protect national sovereignty and the future of this beautiful country to the father's hearth, the CHP party buildings in their respective provinces and districts, today at 14:00, and our citizens in Ankara to the CHP Headquarters. We stand with Ekrem İmamoğlu and his companions. We are meeting at the father's hearth at 14:00. Let no one forget this: no power is superior to the national will."
