CHP's rally move in Bursa
The Republican People's Party (CHP) will call for solidarity at a rally it is organizing in Bursa tomorrow for Mayor Mustafa Bozbey, who has been taken into custody.
The CHP announced that it will support Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Bozbey, who is currently being held in custody, with a rally to be held at the Metropolitan Municipality Main Service Building on Ankara Road on Friday, April 3, at 20:00. The event organized by the party is expected to see high participation in light of recent developments.
The announcement stated, "We are meeting at the mass opening ceremony of our Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, and we are standing by our mayor Mustafa Bozbey together."
As part of the investigation conducted by the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, detention orders were issued on March 31 for a total of 59 people, including Bozbey and his family. While it was stated that Bozbey is characterized as the "leader of a criminal organization" in the investigation, searches were carried out at both his home and the municipal building. In a statement made by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was shared that a decision was made to seize 51 residences, 23 companies and workplaces, and 1 foundation.
