CHP's third rally location in Istanbul announced
The third in a series of rallies organized against the arrest of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu will be held in Başakşehir on Wednesday, April 30. The rally will take place at the IETT Operations Directorate Boğazköy Platform Office.
The rallies launched against the operations that resulted in the arrest of CHP's presidential candidate and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu continue. While CHP Chairman Özgür Özel organizes rallies in various cities on weekends, he continues to hold public meetings in Istanbul's districts on Wednesday evenings.
The first stop of the rallies, held under the slogan “The nation is protecting its will,” was Şişli, and the second was Beylikdüzü. The location for this Wednesday's rally has been determined as Başakşehir. The rally will be held on Wednesday, April 30, at 20:30.
Amidst the ongoing Kanal Istanbul debates, the rally will take place at the IETT Operations Directorate Boğazköy Platform Office in the İkinci Kısım neighborhood, which is close to the project area.
