Constitutional amendment warning from Tanju Özcan! 'A very dangerous game is being played'

Özcan expressed that the support of 400 deputies required for a constitutional amendment would allow for changes to be made without the need for a referendum, posing a serious risk to democratic processes. Özcan also, with the words "My concern is that they might reach this number!" expressed his anxiety regarding the possibility of reaching this goal. Noting that some deputies who entered the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) on their lists might also be involved in this process, Özcan emphasized that the CHP leadership and other opposition parties must act in unison on this matter.
