Constitutional statement from Kurtulmuş: 'We will resolve it through a democratic process'
Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş made statements regarding the first four articles of the Constitution. Kurtulmuş said, "We will resolve the process of drafting a new constitution, in which there is no debate regarding the first four articles, through a democratic process."

WHAT DID NUMAN KURTULMUŞ SAY?
In his statement referring to Article 3 of the Constitution, Parliament Speaker Kurtulmuş said, "The state does not have a territory. The state does not have a nation." In a statement issued by the Istanbul Bar Association, they reacted by saying, "The first 3 articles of the Constitution are the foundation and the mortar of the Republic."
These words of Kurtulmuş were met with great reaction by citizens.
