Controversial remarks about İmamoğlu from Ümit Özdağ! 'After Erdoğan...'

Zafer Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ has targeted Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.

Participating in a program hosted by social media influencer Halil İbrahim Göker, Özdağ criticized the contacts between the CHP and İmamoğlu with the DEM Party, stating, "I see Ekrem İmamoğlu as a serious danger and threat to Turkey."

"TURKEY CANNOT HANDLE AN İMAMOĞLU AFTER ERDOĞAN"

Özdağ's statements are as follows;

"He is a politician who is not sacred in terms of politics. I see İmamoğlu as a serious threat and danger to Turkey. It is impossible for Turkey to handle an İmamoğlu after Erdoğan. You go to Diyarbakır and have your photo taken in front of a so-called monument of the PKK with HDP members, and then you return to Istanbul and construct a sentence that is clearly designed by an advertising agency; 'I would like to drink a cup of coffee with Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.' This is very much an advertisement, 100 percent insincere. The issue goes beyond that. The CHP is a party that is in pursuit of an alliance with the DEM."
