A 'cooperation' summit in Ankara: Özgür Özel and Muharrem İnce to meet

Turkey has entered the local election atmosphere. While the CHP, whose cooperation proposal to the İYİ Party was rejected, is accelerating its election efforts, negotiations with other parties continue.

Last week, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and Memleket Party Chairman Muharrem İnce met. Following this meeting, which stirred up political circles, it was suggested that another surprise visit would take place in Ankara.

It has been claimed that CHP Chairman Özgür Özel will meet with Muharrem İnce after his visit to Germany. Journalist Altan Sancar stated, "CHP leader Özgür Özel will meet with Memleket Party Chairman Muharrem İnce following his Germany visit."

While it is stated that the content of the meeting will be 'cooperation', whether a proposal for the İzmir candidacy will be made has also become a subject of curiosity. 

İZMİR CANDIDACY CLAIM: A PROPOSAL WILL BE MADE

Journalist İsmail Saymaz, providing information on the İmamoğlu-İnce meeting on Sözcü TV, stated that he heard a proposal might be made to Muharrem İnce for the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral Candidacy.

Stating that he asked Muharrem İnce about the claim, Saymaz reported that İnce said, "It hasn't been proposed, but it has reached my ears."
