Critical agenda at Kılıçdaroğlu's first MYK meeting: Expulsion files on the table

The Central Executive Board (MYK) met for the second time in the new process shaped by the absolute nullity decision within the CHP. At the meeting held at the Headquarters under the chairmanship of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, the steps the party management will take regarding the upcoming period were discussed.

According to information obtained from party corridors, the meeting's agenda included the CHP Group Meeting to be held on Tuesday, the planned dialogue committee, processes regarding expulsion files, and the party's new roadmap.

GROUP MEETING PREPARATIONS DISCUSSED

It was learned that the first item discussed at the MYK meeting was the CHP Group Meeting to be held on Tuesday.

It was stated that the party management evaluated the preparations for the group meeting and exchanged views on the content of the meeting.

DIALOGUE COMMITTEE ON THE AGENDA

The issue of the dialogue committee, which is planned to be established to conduct contacts within the party, was also brought to the table during the meeting.

It was stated that the structure, scope of duty, and methods to be followed by the committee were evaluated by the MYK members.

EXPULSION FILES BROUGHT TO THE TABLE

Disciplinary processes formed one of the key agenda items for the MYK.

According to information obtained, a letter sent to the MYK by the High Disciplinary Board (YDK) regarding the cancellation of expulsion proceedings carried out after November 4-5, 2023, was discussed at the meeting.

It was learned that evaluations regarding the request were made and the legal dimensions of the process were discussed.

MYK MEMBERS GAVE PRESENTATIONS

It was stated that MYK members were expected to give presentations regarding their respective areas of responsibility during the meeting.

It was noted that the party's current work and planning for the upcoming period were also evaluated within this scope.

It was reported that CHP Spokesperson Müslim Sarı is expected to make a public statement regarding the MYK meeting at 15:30.

It is expected that the decisions taken by the party leadership during the meeting and their assessments regarding the agenda will be shared through this statement.

Meanwhile, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu left his residence in the morning and headed to the party headquarters.
