Critical CHP rally in Eskişehir: Rare earth elements on the agenda... 'Yesterday he gave whatever FETÖ wanted, today he gives whatever Trump wants'

The 64th in the CHP's "Defending the National Will" rally series is being held in Eskişehir. This event brings to the agenda the demands for the release of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and Presidential Candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu, who is currently imprisoned in Silivri, and calls for early elections.

HIGH TURNOUT IN ESKİŞEHİR

The crowd gathered in Republic Square began arriving at the venue early in the morning. Rally participants carried flags and banners, chanting slogans such as "Rights, law, justice" and "President İmamoğlu."

A banner reading "We will not forget" was also displayed at the rally site in memory of the recently deceased Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ferdi Zeyrek.

ÖZGÜR ÖZEL'S MESSAGES AWAITED

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel will address the crowd gathered at the rally. Özel is expected to make important statements regarding rare earth elements, which are of strategic importance for Turkey's future.

In a previous statement, Özel had said, "The technologies of the future lie in Turkey's soil: Rare earth elements. These strategic riches of ours should not be on a bargaining table with Trump, but at the service of science and the public. Because the independence of underground resources is the independence of the country!"

İMAMOĞLU'S LETTER READ

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and CHP presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu, who has been held in Silivri for over 7 months on unlawful charges and was recently accused of "espionage," for which he has been kept in a detention cell at the Çağlayan Courthouse for hours to give a statement, also sent a letter from Silivri to the 64th action point, Eskişehir.

ÖZGÜR ÖZEL ADDRESSES THE CROWD

The Eskişehir meeting continues with the speech of CHP Chairman Özgür Özel.

In his speech at the rally, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel also drew attention to the rare earth elements found in the Beylikova district of Eskişehir.

"We came to Eskişehir to protect our future, because some people do not think about the country's future for their own future, because some people are trying to trade this country's future with their own political future, because they are trying to sell this country's future to America.

Early in the morning, President Ekrem and our friends were summoned to the Çağlayan Courthouse with a new slander. We cut our program abroad short and made it in time. In Çağlayan, we stood up against the 'White Taurus' gang together with tens of thousands of people who filled that square upon our call and stood against them when they thought they would finish this business quietly on a Sunday.

Erdoğan went and sought legitimacy in Trump, in the USA. He went and sat in the Oval Office. Trump expressed his satisfaction with the meeting. He made Erdoğan say the Halki Seminary."

Someone who knows they will lose if the ballot box is set up now wants to seek legitimacy in the USA. Before he left, he met with Trump's son. He agreed on the Boeing aircraft issue. He reduced US taxes. He promised his son that the rare earth elements would be given to Trump. He went and sat in the Oval Office on this condition. He made Erdoğan say the Halki Seminary. He mentioned natural gas, he hasn't said anything about earth elements yet. I made it my duty to inform everyone about the importance of these elements. The 5th largest reserve in the world is in Turkey, in Eskişehir.

If the Ottoman Empire had not missed the Industrial Revolution, we would have been one of the richest countries in the world. Now we are facing a game. Erdoğan is committing to give the rare earth elements to Trump. If we do this, we will have given away the goose that lays the golden eggs. Erdoğan gave whatever FETÖ wanted yesterday, and now he is giving whatever Trump wants.

This is Eskişehir, where you supposedly tried to make a claim and then realized your own limitations. We will not let you sell the rare earth elements. Their only concern has been the seats they are stuck to. When Erdoğan was my age, he was telling the late Erbakan, who was his age at the time, that 'you are seventy, your time is up.' He was being rude to Ecevit, asking 'are you going to leave when you die?'

Retirees are receiving the lowest pension. If the AKP had never touched the retirees, the lowest pension would have been 80 thousand liras. During the triple coalition period they criticize, a retiree could buy 8 quarter gold coins.

Today, a retiree can buy 1.5 quarter gold coins. The minimum wage has fallen from 7 quarter gold coins to 3. The late Ecevit, whom they do not like, was told by Tayyip that he was giving 45 liras of KYK loan when he was leaving the country to them.

With the 45 liras of KYK loan they called 'little,' one and a half gold coins could be bought. Now a student cannot even get one-third of that. Only 15 percent of students can stay in dormitories. When we come to power, we will call TOKİ and have them build 'Republic Dormitories'.
