Critical date for IYI Party: New roadmap to be determined

The IYI Party's consultation retreat, to be held on July 12-13 and 14, will be attended by members of the Presidential Council, the General Administrative Board (GİK), and the Central Disciplinary Board (MDK), as well as members of parliament.

At the retreat, in addition to determining a new roadmap within the framework of preparations for the 2028 elections, the results of the local elections held on March 31 will be evaluated.

"WE ARE NOW PREPARING FOR THE SQUARES"

Hakan Şeref Olgun, Head of Legal, Election and Parliamentary Affairs, stated in his remarks regarding the retreat that the program, which will begin with an opening speech by Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu, will include presentations by the Organization Affairs, Media Promotion, Financial Affairs, and National Security and Migration Policies departments, and that participants will also be informed about the party's parliamentary activities and work by the TBMM Group Presidency.

Olgun reported that in addition to the retreat program, Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu will visit local tradespeople in Afyonkarahisar on Saturday, July 13, and will attend the Çay Cherry Festival.

Regarding the agenda of the retreat, Olgun said the following:

"Everyone will express their views, and we will draw our new roadmap accordingly; we will address our shortcomings. We are now preparing for the squares. The local election results will be evaluated. We are making our preparations for the first general election, whether it is held on time or early. We have gone through two elections within one year. We will prepare for the election with the experience we have gained from those elections, and we will fill our gaps."
