In recent days, claims of a rift within the People's Alliance have continued to occupy the political agenda. MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli's remarks regarding the investigation into the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and his statements defending arrested gang leader Selahattin Yılmaz further fueled these discussions.

ERDOĞAN AND BAHÇELİ MEET

Following these developments, all eyes turned to the two partners of the People's Alliance. President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli met in the Ahlat district of Bitlis as part of the events marking the 954th anniversary of the Battle of Manzikert.

BATTLE OF MANZIKERT EVENT

President Erdoğan attended the Ahlat Event Area Program held at the Ahlat Recreation Area. As part of the event, Erdoğan and Bahçeli visited the Ahlat Seljuk Cemetery together and prayed for the martyrs.

It was reported that after the Manzikert event, the two leaders moved to Bahçeli's residence in Ahlat for a private meeting.
