Date set for Erdoğan's visit to CHP!

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan chaired the Central Decision and Executive Board Meeting at his party's headquarters the day before yesterday.

What was discussed at the critical meeting has emerged. According to a report by Selda Güneysu from Cumhuriyet, it was noted that Erdoğan told MKYK members about his meeting with CHP Chairman Özgür Özel at the AKP Headquarters on May 2, and said, “We were always ready to meet and stay in contact with the opposition, but the previous administration did not allow much opportunity for this. During the Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu era, the CHP could only endure the Yenikapı spirit for two or three weeks.”

WHEN WILL ERDOĞAN VISIT THE CHP?

In AKP circles, it is being discussed that Erdoğan will visit CHP Chairman Özgür Özel as soon as possible. It is indicated that the visit could take place in mid-June, and that “courtesy visits” will be made between the CHP and the AKP during the Eid al-Adha holiday. It is also being discussed that the AKP's party congress, which was previously stated to be held at the beginning of October, has been postponed to a later date and could be held in 2025. Furthermore, it is suggested that a change in personnel could take place from that date onwards.
