Date set: Özel to announce CHP's roadmap!

CHP Spokesperson Deniz Yücel made statements during extraordinary meetings held in Istanbul following the arrest of Beşiktaş Mayor Rıza Akpolat. While stating that the process is a "wear down, intimidate, and discredit" plan, Yücel said that the CHP has created a large and comprehensive roadmap.

Yücel announced that CHP Chairman Özgür Özel will explain the party's roadmap on Tuesday.

Following the arrest of Beşiktaş Mayor Rıza Akpolat, the CHP leadership held consecutive meetings in Istanbul, during which Deniz Yücel provided information.

"The pre-planned scenes of a grand plot, a grand scenario, are being brought to life one by one," said Yücel, adding, "What is happening is a 'wear down, intimidate, and discredit' process from start to finish... The process of wearing down, intimidating, and discrediting continues even after the arrest."

"ERDOĞAN STANDS BEFORE US WITH HIS PUPPETS"

"Today, Mr. Erdoğan is fighting a cowardly fight," Yücel emphasized, stating, "Mr. Erdoğan, who cannot maintain moral competition on the political stage and cannot leave warm halls to mingle with the people, stands before us with his puppets and useful apparatuses."

MYK TO MEET AGAIN

"We have been in Istanbul with our deputies and our entire party management since the moment the detention and arrest decision was issued," said Yücel, continuing as follows:

"Yesterday, our Central Executive Board (MYK) met first. Then we held our closed group meeting and evaluated the process. Today, we evaluated the process in detail at our Party Assembly meeting. In the coming hours, our MYK will meet again with the Beşiktaş agenda."

WILL THE ARREST DECISION BE APPEALED?

Yücel also announced that they will appeal the arrest decision regarding Rıza Akpolat:

"Necessary objections have been made to the authorized judgeship against the detention procedure, search warrants, and the restriction decision in the file; in the coming days, an objection will also be made regarding the arrest decision concerning our Mayor."

ÖZGÜR ÖZEL WILL MAKE A STATEMENT

"Our Chairman and our authorized bodies have been discussing this process and the roadmap we will follow for days," Yücel said, adding:

"After our Party Assembly meeting ends, our MYK will meet. The path we will follow after this process is not just activism; it is not a decision for a rally or a protest. Of course, these will happen, but our roadmap is to organize a process that is large, comprehensive, includes various actions, and at the end of which we will take over power through a democratic election."

WHEN WILL CHP'S ROADMAP BE ANNOUNCED?

Deniz Yücel also announced that CHP Chairman Özgür Özel will explain his party's roadmap on Tuesday:

"For this reason, Erdoğan should prepare not for an election, but to hand over power after an election. Currently, a common mind is at work in the CHP. Our Chairman will share a more detailed explanation regarding the process we will follow as a party and our roadmap with the public through members of the press, at the latest by Tuesday."
