The DEM Party Central Executive Committee (MYK) has decided to hold an extraordinary meeting regarding the detention of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, who is expected to be the Republican People's Party (CHP) presidential candidate.
The meeting, which will be held to evaluate the developments following the detention of İmamoğlu and some of his colleagues, will take place in Diyarbakır.
