DEM Party Imralı Delegation visits Selahattin Demirtaş
Pervin Buldan and Mithat Sancar from the DEM Party Imralı Delegation met with former HDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş at the Edirne F-Type Prison.
Pervin Buldan, Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and Van MP, and Mithat Sancar, Şanlıurfa MP, both members of the DEM Party's Imralı Delegation, visited Selahattin Demirtaş at the Edirne F-Type Prison on February 27. It was noted that the visit coincided with the first anniversary of the "Peace and Democratic Society Process." During this process, following the call made by PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan, the delegation met with Demirtaş to discuss current developments.
It was learned that the latest developments on the country's agenda were discussed during the meeting, and a comprehensive exchange of views took place between the DEM Party delegation and Demirtaş. The delegation's visit aims to evaluate the course of the process and determine the next steps.
It was stated that the meeting at the Edirne Prison would be lengthy.
