DEM Party's Öcalan rally postponed
The "Hope and Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan" rally, which was planned to be held in Diyarbakır on January 4, has been postponed due to snowfall. The DEM Party announced that it will make a statement regarding a new date.
The rally planned to be held in Diyarbakır on Sunday, January 4, by the Democratic Society Platform under the leadership of the DEM Party, with the demand for freedom for PKK terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan, has been postponed due to adverse weather conditions.
In recent days, DEM Party Youth Assembly member Reşo Kurtalan had announced that they would hold a rally for Abdullah Öcalan on Sunday, January 4:
“The global ‘physical freedom for Öcalan’ campaign, led by philosophers, politicians, intellectuals, Nobel laureate writers, and peoples in many countries around the world, stems from the adoption of Leader Öcalan’s paradigm and the popular and universal character of his half-century-long struggle. The conditions of a main actor, a founding leader whose word, the power of his word, his labor, and his perspective have such high and effective social resonance, must be reorganized according to this historical process, and conditions for freedom must be provided. We invite all peoples to be together at Station Square on Sunday, January 4, and to take responsibility to embrace and realize our demand for physical freedom for Leader Öcalan with the strongest will.”
SNOW EFFECTIVE ACROSS THE COUNTRY
