Detention orders at CHP's Tandoğan rally!

Members of the Association for Solidarity with Families of Prisoners and Convicts (TAYAD), who wanted to attend the rally organized by the Republican People's Party (CHP) at Ankara's Tandoğan Square, were denied entry to the area due to the banner they were carrying.

The banner read, "Accept the demands of Serkan Onur Yılmaz, who is on a death fast. Close down the well-type prisons." The group, which was not allowed into the area, unfurled their banner and chanted slogans for a while.

POLICE INTERVENTION AND DETENTIONS

After the group was prevented from entering the area, police teams surrounded the TAYAD members. Police raised their shields to prevent members of the press at the scene from filming. Following a period of tension, the police detained 6 people.
