Devlet Bahçeli says 'The war stage is set': Remarks on a 'catalog of target countries'

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli issued a written statement regarding the domestic and foreign political agenda. In his statement, Bahçeli said, "The US attacking Iran, Israel's relentless and brutal moves, Iran's threat of retaliation, and finally the decision to close the Strait of Hormuz will ignite hot and dire developments that are not easy to foresee."

On one hand, the vast geography we live on, and on the other, the global balance and established order are being rapidly dragged into a vortex of terror, while escalating risks and threats are overshadowing the common future of humanity.

Developments with a high tone of gravity are progressing continuously and rapidly toward a critical stage that is regrettable and concerning in every aspect.

Essentially, the environment of regional peace and stability, which has been hanging by a thread for years and whose fragility is indisputable, is on the verge of total plunder and destruction.

The binding nature, credibility, and persuasive capacity of peaceful dialogue and diplomatic mechanisms, which everyone talks about but which are increasingly being imprisoned in darkness, are suffering from a grave weakness.

Unfortunately, the networks of a new world war, the third of which is being mentioned, are being woven step by step, and are being signaled and manifested.

It is observed that the political, strategic, and politico-economic anarchy, characterized by a distorted and cruel nature where the "might makes right" mentality prevails and where "the righteous are weak and the powerful are unjust," has severely blunted the problem-solving capacity of the international system.

Zionist-Imperialist rage is in a state of conventional preparation to push the "Rules-Based" global system, which is frequently claimed and expressed, into a tunnel of destruction, or even to annihilate it through a chain reaction of multi-vector crises.

The protective axis of Israel's policy of spreading fear by using power and force is clear; indeed, the vandalism that grows with the blood spilled and the murders committed endangers world peace from every angle.

The US bombing of three nuclear facilities, which were said to have been identified as targets, as of yesterday by joining the de facto war between Iran and Israel, is a scandalous and irresponsible attack.

The convening of the United Nations Security Council in the face of these developments and the UN Secretary-General's statement that he is concerned about the US use of force against Iran is a vulgar deception.

Everyone is playing their dirty role.

The knot of the generation of wars has been untied, the ribbon has been cut, and the stage has been set.

The United Nations is not an institution of whining, coyness, reproach, and complaint, but an international organization that legally holds the right to carry out humanitarian intervention if necessary to build peace.

Our 86 million citizens will, as one heart, thwart the games of regional and global centers that send messages to our country with bombs thrown at Iran, make DAESH attack a church in Damascus, circulate foreign agents among us, and plan possible provocations and agitation.
