Devlet Bahçeli to return to the parliamentary podium after months: MHP leader returns to group meetings

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli is returning to the parliamentary group meetings, which he had taken a long break from. Having been away from the group podium since January 28, 2025, Bahçeli will attend his party's group meeting at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) tomorrow to deliver important messages.

At the MHP Group meeting, which is scheduled to begin tomorrow at 10:45 AM, Bahçeli is expected to make assessments regarding both domestic politics and developments concerning the tension between Iran and Israel.

On May 27, during the DEM Party delegation's contacts at the Parliament, Bahçeli had come to the Parliament for a short time and, in response to journalists' question, "When will you return to the group meetings?", he had replied, "I will come to the group after the holiday, God willing."

Devlet Bahçeli had not participated in the parliamentary group meetings since January 28 due to health reasons. During this period, in Bahçeli's absence, statements on behalf of the party were carried out by deputy chairmen and group deputy chairmen.

MHP sources had stated that Bahçeli's health was good.
